Officers were called to the Fortuna Center Plaza in Dumfries shortly before 11:30 a.m. on Monday morning following a report of a pervy man enjoying himself in a pick-up truck who spooked a shopper.
According to investigators, the woman was parked in the parking lot of the shopping center when the man pulled up in a black GMC four-door pick-up next to her.
During the subsequent encounter, the woman says that she looked over to the truck and the man exposed himself to her. She then drove to a different parking spot while the man sped away without further incident.
There was no physical or verbal contact between the two, police noted.
Few details are available regarding the suspect, who was described only as a White man with short blonde hair in a crew-cut style, with light-colored eyes.
